apparel care

Our infant and toddler tees are made with vinyl that is pressed onto each garment with a professional heat press (not a home iron) in our design studio. At Little Neni, we prefer to machine wash the tees inside out in warm or cold water and then lay them flat or hang them to dry. We do this for a number of reasons, including less fading, less shrinkage and subsequently, less chance of the decorations becoming wrinkled. However, we know not everyone has the time (or patience) to sort through the laundry after a wash and wait overnight for a particular item to dry, so tumble drying on low or normal setting also works.

In the event you need to press any of the shirt decorations, please use the following guidelines:

  1. Set your iron on low to medium heat (around 248°F)
  2. Lay the shirt on a flat surface
  3. Set the iron on top of the graphic and let it sit for about 5-7 seconds. DO NOT MOVE the iron around when it's on the graphic. This step is important - any back and forth or side to side movement of the iron will ruin the graphic.
  4. Lift the iron straight up and smooth out with your fingers if needed.
